Engineering Students from Warrington and Value Royal College were recently welcomed by Whitfield & Brown Construction to their Bewsey & Dallam Community Hub project, which was recently procured via the Procure Partnership’s Framework (North West).
Upon arrival students were provided with informative presentations by Geoff Woods of Baker Mallett, followed by members of the Whitfield & Brown delivery team. The students were introduced to the wider on-site team and provided with insights into what each role entails and their responsibilities. They were shown fly through CGI’s and drawings with a full explanation on the build, materials, and timescales. Whilst the students are undertaking an engineering course, this was the first time they had entered a live site which provided them with a valued awareness of day to day activities.
